The Morton Girls Softball Association's objective is to provide a supervised softball program that will be enjoyable, educational and challenging for all girls in our community focusing on developing skills and building character through the game of softball.
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up a player for the 2026 Spring MGSA Potter Recreation League.
Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.
Registration closes March 12! Tuesday/Thursday practices will start in April with games being added to the schedule in May and running through the end of June. The season will conclude with trophies being awarded and a pool party at the Morton Pool!
Introducing “Wee-Ball” League for girls who are 3 years old by March 1st:
An early introduction to softball using a wiffle ball pitched by a coach, providing players an opportunity to make new friends, build confidence, and enhance gross motor skills. Bats, uniform top (t-shirt with number) and wiffle balls all provided. Registration fee $20.00 for residents/ $40.00 for non-residents
T-Ball League for 4 years old girls and/or who attended Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year: Introduction to softball, including an early understanding of offense and defense, infield and outfield using a standard tee and 9” softie-balls prioritizing team work, safety, and fun. Helmets, bats, uniform top (t-shirt with number), and softie-balls are provided. Families will need to provide a fielding glove. Fielding masks are recommended but not required. Registration fee $40.00 for residents/ $80.00 for non-residents
Rec League for girls enrolled in 1st - 8th grades during the 2025-2026 school year:
A development league for girls to learn or deepen their knowledge of softball focusing on body mechanics, player positions, and building confidence. Helmets, bats, uniform top (t-shirt with number), and softballs are provided. Families need to provide fielding gloves and fielding face masks. Registration fee $60.00 for residents/ $120.00 for non-residents
Division 1 / 2 = 1st and 2nd graders
Coach pitch. 9”-10” softie-balls
Division 3 / 4 = 3rd and 4th graders
Machine/coach pitch. 11” regular softballs
Division 5 / 6 = 5th and 6th graders
Player/machine pitch. 11” regular softballs
Division 7 / 8 = 7th and 8th graders
Player/machine pitch. 12” regular softballs

Greetings Softball Families,
It is that time of year when we look for the next group of volunteers. There is no more rewarding experience than volunteering to help your community youth sports organization. We have a number of positions open, if you are interested please click here and complete the registration form. Once complete a board member will reach out.
Volunteers are a vital part of youth sports. As a volunteer you will help teach skills, foster teamwork, and serve as positive role model, ultimately enhancing the overall experience and development of our young athletes.
If you have some free time please consider registering to help the youth in our community.
